The Journey is a five-week study on the history, vision and beliefs of River Valley plus practical tools to help you in your journey with Jesus Christ.  Anyone can sign up for one or more of the journey classes.  We would encourage you to take each class in succession.

The Journey is required for anyone seeking membership with River Valley Christian Fellowship. 

Journey 101 -
Discover River Valley.
Journey 101 through 401 is required for those who desire to become members of River Valley Christian Fellowship.
Here's what you will learn:
  *  The church's history and vision for the future.
  *  The doctrinal beliefs of the church.
  *  Our strategy for fulfilling our mission.

Journey 201 -
Discover Growth Essentials
The focus of Journey 201 is four basic habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity.  You will be equipped with the skills you need to begin these habits and learn about the tools you need to continue these habits.
Here's what you will learn:
  *  What is spiritual maturity and why it is important.
  *  How to get a grasp on your Bible.
  *  The habit of a daily time with God.
  *  The habit of Prayer.
  *  The habit of Tithing.
  *  The habit of Fellowship.
  *  How to start and maintain good habits.

Journey 301 -
Discover Your Design for Ministry
In Journey 301 we will focus on Five Personal Factors that have combined to shape the "real" you.  By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry God has designed you for will become more clear.
Here's what you will learn:
  *  What the Bible says about ministry.
  *  How God has "shaped" you.
  *  The process for discovering your ministry
  *  Identifying your unique S.H.A.P.E.
  *  Ministry opportunities at River Valley Christian Fellowship.
  *  Developing a heart to serve.

Journey 401 -
Discover How To Share Your Faith
God has called us to be on mission with Him to take His message to our families, community and the world.  In Journey 401 you will discover key insights in the following areas:
  *  God's purpose in creating us.
  *  Jesus' mission on earth.
  *  Why Jesus' mission must matter to me.
  *  How to share Christ more effectively.
  *  Five keys to spiritual fishing.
  *  How people come to Christ.
  *  How to build a bridge of friendship.
