Welcome to River Valley Student Ministries!
There are a ton of voices calling out to students today. That's why we are committed to be a consistent voice to Jr. and Sr. High students echoing God's call to follow Jesus. It is our desire to reach this generation for Christ.
We offer several different environments that are fun, challenging, and that invite students into a growing relationship with God. We intentionally invest in the entire family because we believe that we are called to partner with parents in developing students.
Our Purpose: To awaken students to the love and teachings of Jesus; and encourage them towards a committed and contagious relationship with Christ.
We accomplish our purpose by living out the following 7 Core values:
1. Absolute Truth and Authority
John 14:6 & Romans 13:1-2
"In our pluralistic society, it is crucial for students to be able to know and defend their faith. And to live under the authority that God has placed over them."
2. Wise Decisions
Ephesians 5:15-17
"Giving students the opportunity to develop a Christian world-view, and seeing how the choices made now effect their future."
3. Moral Boundaries
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
"Led by conviction to create moral limits to maintain purity of mind and body."
4. Authentic Worship

"Teaching and modeling for students that Worship is more than singing songs, but it is a lifestyle of serving and praising God."
5. Spiritual Disciplines
John 15:5, Romans 12:2
"Showing students that taking time to listen to God, read and memorize Scripture, pray, and journal will ultimately lead to a renewing of their mind."
6. Servanthood
Philippians 2:3-11
"Helping students see and take advantage of opportunities to serve others, everyday."
7. Evangelism

"Giving students the tools and confidence to share their faith with family, friends, community, and the world."

Plunge (Sr. High) Gathers Sunday nights 6-8 pm
Dive (Jr. High) Gathers on Wednesday 6:15-8:15 pm during the school year and 6:30-8 pm over the summer
